Florida Bond Program

The Florida Bond program offer various down payment assistance programs:

The Florida Assist

• up to $10,000
• 0% interest, 2^nd mortgage
• deferred for up to 30 years
• may be combined with a Florida First Preferred Conventional or Government (FHA, VA, USDA) loan
• 1^st time homebuyer – no ownership in past 3 years, unless customer is a Veteran (non-active duty)
• minimum 640 credit score

3% HFA Preferred Grant

• up to 3% of the purchase price
• non-repayable grant
• may be combined with a Florida First Preferred Plus Conventional loan
• 1^st time homebuyer – no ownership in past 3 years, unless customer is a Veteran (non-active duty)
• minimum 640 credit score

Florida Military Heroes Loan

• provides a reduced interest rate for our nation’s heroes!
• applies to all loan types
• may be combined with the Florida Assist down payment assistance program

State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP)

• Get up to $80,000 in down payment assistance
• Forgiven after 10 years!
• Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans all acceptable
• 1^st time homebuyer – no ownership in past 3 years, unless customer is a Veteran (non-active duty)
